Mouse Vinga MSW-907 black
As practice shows, when choosing computer peripherals, the average user does not chase after labels and loud names. It is much more important for the device to have a pleasant appearance, good ergonomics, decent functionality, and an affordable price with decent build quality. However, if you enter any retail or online store, it is not so easy to immediately navigate, as the shelves are bursting with a huge assortment. Fortunately, in the age of the internet, you can always find answers to your questions and make the right, and most importantly, informed choice. In this review, we will get acquainted with the young brand VINGA, which offers a wide range of products on the domestic market: from TVs and computer cases to car accessories and headsets. In our case, we will talk about three optical mice at once – VINGA MSW-907, VINGA MSG-307, and VINGA MSG-867.

How do they look? How do they work? Who are they designed for? Is it worth taking? We will try to give comprehensive answers to these and other questions in this material. As usual, we suggest starting the story by reviewing the technical specifications.

Supply and Packaging

The packaging of the VINGA MSW-907 mouse is presented in the form of a simple plastic blister. This immediately allows you to assess its appearance and convenience in the palm. The design is quite pleasant and characterized by good informativeness. Inside, in addition to the manipulator itself, we found a receiver and an AA battery.
Appearance, Element Placement, and Work Impressions

At first glance, the VINGA MSW-907 makes it clear that it is perfect for a laptop. All thanks to the wireless connection interface, compact dimensions, and modest weight (94 x 60 x 36.6 mm and 54 g). Visually, it looks quite pleasant due to the symmetrical body with a combination of black and blue colors in the design.

The main material of the construction is plastic. Most of the working surface has a nice and pleasant to the touch soft-touch coating, which is replaced by glossy inserts on the sides and around the scroll wheel. In both cases, traces of use are clearly visible, so appropriate care is needed to maintain a proper appearance. The bottom is slightly rough.

The front part is reserved for the main keys and the scroll wheel. The buttons are quite springy and loud, but with a clear stroke. However, the wheel is somewhat sluggish and has a weakly expressed stroke, without a clear fixation of position.

The VINGA logo is proudly displayed on the back.

The VINGA MSW-907 fits quite comfortably in the hand, considering the dimensions. The center of gravity is slightly shifted to the front, where the power element is located. The best grip is "fingertip" or "claw".

On the bottom are three extremely small Teflon feet, which do not provide very convenient movement: if you do not use a mat, all surface irregularities are immediately felt. There is also a compartment for an AA battery (the manufacturer does not report the battery life), a sticker with technical information, and an optical sensor.

The sensor has a resolution of 1000 DPI. It works quite well with both mats and lacquered surfaces. However, the cursor movement cannot be called very smooth: there are certain micro-jitters and a slight periodic lag (possibly due to the noise of the 2.4 GHz band). It is unlikely to be suitable for dynamic games, but it is quite suitable for work. By the way, during testing, we used the Epic Gear CompoXite gaming mat in all cases.

The build quality of the VINGA MSW-907 is decent, but there are some remarks: the rubber insert on the scroll wheel was not fixed in any way, so even with a slight press, it can rotate on its own. It is also worth noting the cover on the base: it has a rather light and, at first glance, sufficient fixation, but when moving the mouse, a characteristic sound is created, and it seems that it is weakly fixed. However, the level of rigidity is excellent – nothing creaks or bends.

Supply and Package Contents

The VINGA MSG-307 mouse greets its buyer in a neat package made of thin cardboard. The design is quite stylish and characterized by good informativeness. Thanks to the transparent window, you can examine the appearance and assess the ergonomics. The package contains nothing but the manipulator itself.
Appearance, Element Placement, and Work Impressions

The VINGA MSG-307 mouse looks decent: medium dimensions (116.5 x 67 x 40 mm), simple shapes, and completely black coloring. It is equally suitable for use with both desktop systems and portable devices.

The main decoration can be considered the pulsating illumination. It reflects the selected resolution value with color (lime, green, yellow, and red).

The manipulator features a symmetrical design that will be equally appreciated by both right-handed and left-handed users.
The working surface of the mouse is made of two materials: most of the back is a nice soft-touch coating, while the rear part and the edging at the junction are glossy, which is already covered with small scratches even out of the box. The bottom, sides, and additional buttons are slightly rough.

The front part of the "rodent" has quite a few elements: main buttons (springy, with a clear but loud actuation), scroll wheel (sluggish movement, with not very pronounced positions), and a total of six additional buttons ([G4] and [G5] - "Back" and "Forward"; [G6] - minimize/maximize all windows; [G7] - double-click LMB; [G8] and [G9] - DPI switch), which overall feel similar to the main ones but tend to wobble slightly.

The manufacturer's logo is located directly under the palm.

The ergonomics of the VINGA MSG-307 are quite good. Due to its shape, the mouse fits well in palms of any size, except for the largest. However, it lacks rubberized inserts on the sides, although the indentations partially help. The weight (107 g), as well as the weight balance, are comfortable. The best grip option is the "claw," but the "palm" grip can also be used comfortably.

The connection cable, with a length of 1.5 m, is characterized by decent flexibility, but it lacks braiding. At the exit, it is protected by a stiffener.

The bottom part of the manipulator has four Teflon feet that provide comfortable movement across surfaces, a sticker with technical information, and an optical sensor.

The latter supports a resolution range of 800 – 2000 DPI (intermediate values are likely 1200 and 1600 DPI). It works quite well on both mats and desktops, including lacquered ones. At the same time, it provides fairly smooth cursor movement, although not perfect. For work and not too dynamic games, it's quite a decent option.

According to the Enotus Mouse Test, the maximum movement speed of this model is 0.53 m/s.

The rigidity of the VINGA MSG-307's construction and assembly does not raise significant complaints. However, again, there are some remarks: the rubberized insert on the scroll wheel is securely fixed, but the wheel itself wobbles slightly, causing it to rattle during movements. Occasionally, you can hear creaking.

Supply and packaging

The VINGA MSG-867 gaming mouse has a similar box to the previous model: lightweight cardboard, pleasant design, and good informativeness. Inside, there's only the manipulator itself.
Appearance, element placement, and work impressions

The developers of the VINGA MSG-867 clearly wanted to emphasize its gaming focus, so they endowed it with a formidable appearance with a predominance of simple geometric shapes and dark shades. It can be boldly called full-sized (124 x 84 x 41 mm).

It features pulsating illumination, the color of which depends on the current sensor resolution.

The mouse is symmetrical (excluding the side buttons). The body is quite pleasant to the touch thanks to the soft-touch coating on the top, but it also includes gloss, which occupies the rear and front parts of the design. The bottom, sides, and additional buttons are slightly rough.
The button placement is convenient, including additional keys for switching sensor resolution (located near the scroll wheel) and two side buttons ("Back" and "Forward"). The operation of the main buttons is clear and does not cause any particular complaints. Only the loud click might not be appreciated. The additional keys are much quieter, but their travel is not very clear. The wheel, like in previous models, has a sluggish movement.
In terms of convenience, the VINGA MSG-867 is very good - it fits perfectly in the hand. The sides are somewhat slippery, but thanks to the indentations, finger rests, and side buttons, everything is fine. It's best to use the "palm" grip, but "claw" is also possible. The weight balance and the mass itself (135 g) are quite comfortable.

For connection, a 1.5-meter, fairly flexible cable in nylon braiding is used. At the exit, it is protected by a strain relief, and at the end, there is a ferrite filter and a gold-plated USB plug.

On the bottom of the manipulator, there are four Teflon feet that have decent glide, but it's slightly worse than the VINGA MSG-307.

There is also an optical sensor with a resolution of 1200 to 3200 DPI. This is quite sufficient for Full HD games. For some, these figures might even be excessive. In operation, the sensor performed equally well on gaming surfaces and lacquered desktops.

According to the Enotus Mouse Test, the maximum movement speed of the VINGA MSG-867 is 0.55-0.69 m/s.

The device is characterized by good build quality, confirmed by the absence of gaps and extraneous sounds when compressed. No problems with the wheel were noticed.
Conclusions
As you can see, the peripheral market is constantly evolving. More and more manufacturers and various brands are appearing on the horizon. This benefits the end consumer, meaning us, by providing a variety of models and competitive prices. It's no secret that many solutions on the domestic market are OEM devices from China that have changed their name. And there's nothing wrong with that because the buyer gets the same device, but with an official warranty, which is a confirmation of product quality. This also applies to the reviewed mice from the VINGA brand, from the packaging of which you can learn that their production is handled by Shenzhen Wintop Electronics Co.LTD. By the way, they also produce products for the brands Speedlink, Prestigio, and Trust.

Speaking specifically about the reviewed manipulators VINGA MSW-907, VINGA MSG-307, and VINGA MSG-867, they left quite positive impressions, considering their final price. The first one will appeal to laptop owners and other portable devices. This is due to its compact size and wireless connectivity. It is unlikely to be suitable for gaming, but for everything else, its capabilities should suffice. As for the VINGA MSG-307, it is a somewhat universal solution for not too dynamic games and work. And the "eight hundred sixty-seventh" is an affordable gaming solution that can fully satisfy the average gamer.
Of course, there were some remarks. But again, given the price, they can be completely ignored. In fact, some users might not even notice them.
Ultimately, the VINGA MSW-907, VINGA MSG-307, and VINGA MSG-867 mice do not reach for the stars, but they cannot be called bad either. For their price, they are decent solutions for the average user and definitely deserve your attention.
