Power supplies under the Vinga brand have been present in the domestic market for several years — the first model entered our test lab more than 9 years ago. Over this time, they have significantly evolved, as we confirmed with the recently tested model Vinga 750W (VPS-750GV3). However, the good balance between cost and internal components remains stable.

Today we will review a very affordable "aquarium" case with a panoramic glass design without stands from the Ukrainian brand Vinga. Somewhat unusual for the average user may be the fact that in terms of dimensions, Vinga Basalt belongs to the most common Middle Tower size, but accommodates only motherboards in microATX and Mini-ITX form factors. This means that when using a relatively compact board, the manufacturer offers minimal restrictions on the dimensions of the graphics card and CPU cooling.

To power a significant number of modern gadgets, including laptops with not too demanding hardware, a power of 45W is quite sufficient. This 45-watt power bank Vinga 20000 mAh 45W Display Cable (VPBB2045C) was tested by us. It has a capacity of 20,000 mAh (≈77 Wh) and can be useful during blackouts or in situations where the built-in battery charge of the device is no longer sufficient for the required level of autonomy.

A power bank is no longer just about battery capacity, but also a whole range of additional features. For example, the Vinga 10000 mAh 22.5W/15W/2.5W Wireless (VPBB1022WL) offers a substantial output power of 22.5W, two USB Type-C ports, a built-in cable for connecting devices, a foldable stand, and wireless charging with Qi standard.

A portable wireless router is a useful thing both during blackouts and while traveling. Moreover, the market offers both multifunctional models with a battery and display and simpler options for basic needs.

Today, the market is flooded with cases featuring glass panels, where appearance often outweighs practicality and cooling efficiency. However, a powerful gaming or workstation requires a different approach. You need a dual-chamber design with open space and maximum ventilation for stable operation of hot hardware.
