Vinga AlO BUSINESS B400 is placed in a relatively large box made of dense cardboard. It is designed in black and green tones and allows you to evaluate not only the appearance of the product but also its characteristics. There is a convenient handle for transportation. The package includes an external Vinga VPA-1202003 power supply with a detachable cable, a stand with screws for mounting, and user documentation.
Appearance, element placement:
Externally, the Vinga AlO BUSINESS B400 resembles modern monitors or TVs. The first thing that catches the eye is the very narrow bezels on three sides, and the overall effect of lightness and compactness is enhanced by the elegant stand.
The case is made of sturdy matte plastic, complemented at the front by a decorative brushed aluminum panel. The stand is also made of metal. All parts are non-marking.
In terms of ergonomics, the stand allows you to adjust the screen tilt in the range from -5 to 20 degrees. There is also the possibility of a slight horizontal swivel. This is quite sufficient for most users for individual settings.
The rear part of the Vinga AlO BUSINESS B400 is largely very thin, but it thickens at the bottom due to the placement of the hardware. Here are concentrated all the control elements and input-output ports.
From left to right: power and reset buttons, a pair of USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, card reader, RJ45, HDMI out, power connector, and two 3.5 mm audio jacks. As for the buttons, they are easily found by hand, and thanks to their different sizes and shapes, it is unlikely to confuse them. In addition, it is worth highlighting the stereo speakers and a hatch under which there is a free slot for installing a 2.5-inch drive without losing the warranty. On the bottom edge, besides the ventilation holes, there is a Kensington security lock and another USB 2.0 port.

The Vinga AlO BUSINESS uses an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and a glossy finish. The output provides pleasant color reproduction, slightly with cool shades, maximum viewing angles, and good contrast. Brightness varies in the range from 29 to 218 cd/m2. This will allow comfortable work indoors at night or during the day.
The sRGB and Adobe RGB palette coverage reaches 106% and 73%, respectively. Let us remind you that good indicators for non-professional monitors can be considered around 90% and 65%, respectively. Simply put, the display is unlikely to be suitable for professional color correction, but ordinary users should be satisfied. And this is much better than the widespread TNs with their terrible color reproduction and limited viewing angles.
Due to the extremely thin screen bezels (on the sides and top), the webcam had to be placed at the bottom. Before us is a regular CMOS module with a resolution of 2 MP. By default, the aspect ratio is 16:9 (in the settings, you can choose an aspect ratio of 4:3).
The audio subsystem is based on the Realtek ALC269 HDA codec, and a pair of 4W stereo speakers (2 x 2) are installed in the case.
The built-in memory controller supports DDR3L/LPDDR3-1866 or LPDDR4-2400 modules in dual-channel mode with a maximum capacity of up to 8 GB.
Wireless communication is carried out using the Intel Wireless-AC 3165 combined network adapter. It supports 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 standards. Wired connection is performed by the widespread Realtek RTL8168G module.
Vinga AlO BUSINESS is a potentially affordable all-in-one for solving office-multimedia tasks at home or in the office. It offers an elegant appearance, good build quality, a comfortable set of ports and communications, as well as a decent Full HD IPS display. The hardware resources are sufficient for surfing the internet, working with text or spreadsheets, creating presentations, watching streaming video, including 4K, and running casual or undemanding games.
